And we’re back online….............
Well, we’re back online again. Did ya miss us?? Yeah, I bet.
I haven’t been the best blogger - could be by the time I get time to use the computer it is already part way into another day; ah but that hasn’t been my excuse. Mostly it is because I can think of a million things to blog about as I drive around Long Island, but unfortunately the island isn’t totally wireless and I can’t type and drive at the same time.
I am being lazy tonight and not changing the quote or the worst driver of the day (I have loads of those license plate numbers tho) basically that is because I really need to get to bed at a decent time. (Like before 4 a.m.)
Early this evening we had movie watching. Rented “Friends with Money” boring, snooze, snooze. The absolute worst I have ever seen Jennifer Aniston and the most strangest that I have seen Jane Cusack. Usually I love the movies that these two women do, but this was one I could do without watching. I understood what they were trying to say and all - but it was still pretty boring.
Next up was “Take the Lead” headed by Antonio Banderas with support from Alfre Woodard, Rob Brown, Dante Brasco (Raffel in Hook) and Yaya DaCosta to name a few. (Yaya DaCosta was a runner-up on America’s Next Top Model - which explains why I kept saying “I know her face. Who is she?“ Of course I knew her face High School Girl has me watch that show with her) (Talking during any movie is forbidden because HS Girl likes silence.) “Take the Lead” is based on the true story of Pierre Dulane who is still teaching ballroom dancing to NYC kids - there are over 1200 kids involved in 120 schools. Ok, so the movie was a bit slow in places and a little cheesy in others, but overall it wasn’t bad. Me, I like to watch dance movies. “Save the Last Dance” (already in my collection) and “Shall We Dance?“ are two of my favorites.
Ok, so now I’m tired and have to go to bed - if I hurry I could be asleep before 2 a.m.
PS the time posted on these entries is screwy - all my clocks say it is 1:20 a.m.
