In case you have been buried in cave for the last few minutes (or hours - depending on what time you are reading this) it was just announced that McCain has chosen Alaska governor Sarah Palin for his running mate.
Hmmm what a choice - vote for the first black president or vote for the first female VP.
I know who I am not voting for (more on that later).......

Yes I can!! Thank you very much. My new lenses came in and were installed in the frames and now I can see to drive, to read, to eat, to write............. Oh happy day!! Also, I thought that I should write and let people know that I can see again as I am now receiving email in quite a large font from some; guess they think that I am about blind...........
So this was a just a quick one to let you know that I am still alive and as a bonus I can now see everything clearly!!
