And I’m………
just not sure exactly how I broke my glasses in two when I was cleaning them on Monday night. We were at the doctor’s office and I had used the sink to clean them as the lenses were really dirty and then as I was drying them off they just snapped right in two!! Go figure. So I had to get some scotch tape (as that is all they had) and try to tape them together so that I could drive home. The ladies in the office and sweet hubby were having a laugh at my nerdy appearance. They held together pretty well till we were leaving the grocery store after getting prescriptions - then they fell apart as I was driving through the parking lot. Had to stop quickly and stick them back together - they held till we made it home. Sweet hubby put them together with super glue so that I could at least be able to wear them to drive.
Early this morning found us heading to the glasses place to get some new ones. Picked them out with help from the ladies in that office (and sweet hubby) and they will be ready by Friday - Saturday at the latest. A new color and style I will have!!

Yep, done that one before! I think the plastic just gets brittle from skin oils and washings and becomes brittle and snaps (never at an opportune moment, either!). Glad M thought to use super glue-that would have been my suggestion, too. Hope the new glasses work out really great for you!
